As an animal lover, I was drawn to Stand for Animals because of the work they have done to decrease euthanasia rates in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg community. Having been involved with them for the last 5 years, I can honestly say that it is an honor to serve on the board of SFA. Watching the organization grow beyond Spay and Neuter, to delivering Veterinarian services to those who wouldn't be able to afford it otherwise, is awe inspiring. The work SFA does goes beyond the animal. They are keeping families together, and ensuring that the love between human and animal can remain intact
