Originally from Northeast Tennessee, Dr. Arends earned her veterinary degree from the University of Tennessee. Her love for animals began with her first pet, a grey kitten named Smokey, and has grown into a passion for helping pets and their owners live long, happy, and healthy lives together. She especially enjoys days filled with puppies and kittens at the clinic and believes one of the best parts of pet ownership is having a loyal, snuggly companion.
