More than a career, it’s a movement, Stand for Animals is a rapidly growing non-profit veterinary care organization with a mission to make veterinary care affordable and accessible for EVERYONE. Our clinics have the power to transform communities into places where no one ever has to forego veterinary care for their pets because the cost is out of reach.

Let’s talk about what makes this role special!

  • Competitive salary? Check!
  • Focus on your patients… not paperwork. Our secret sauce? We’ve got an entire office full of support teams to allow our Veterinarians and clinic teams to focus on the pets and people in front of them.
  • Supporting your financial wellbeing is a must. Have you heard of Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSFL)? If you are employed by a U.S. federal, state, local, or tribal government or not-for-profit organization (like Stand for Animals), you might be eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
  • Prefer a more flexible schedule? Our clinics operate from 7:30 to 4:30 daily, no nights or weekends.
  • Don’t like surgery? No problem! We can make a schedule without surgery shifts. If you like surgery but have never done HQHVSN surgery, no problem! You will receive extensive on the job training - HQHVSN surgical techniques are skills that you’ll carry with you for the rest of your career!
  • Leave work at work! We have a dedicated contact center to answer calls and promote work-life balance - meaning a limited number of after hours emails and calls.
  • Non-competes aren’t for us. We never want to see awesome team members leave, but we respect every veterinarian's choice to make the best decisions necessary for themselves and their families.
  • Belonging, diversity and inclusion isn’t a tagline. We embrace and appreciate a wide range of people and perspectives, to create a space where staff can achieve their full potential, and create transformative experiences for the pets, people and communities we serve.
