We’re thrilled to introduce our two pet mascot winners! These beloved pets stole hearts with their big personalities, unique quirks, and the joy they bring to their families every day. Get to know Toby and Mikki through this fun Q&A that celebrates what makes each of them so special.

Toby (cat)

Q: How would your family describe your personality?
A: I’m a pretty low‑key guy who prefers my inner circle. I may not be the most social with strangers, but once I trust you, I’m all in.

Q: Do you have a favorite treat?
A: I’m not big on treats overall, but when mom is cooking with coconut oil, I'll always try to steal a taste!

Q: What’s something unique about your family?
A: I have a three‑legged sister! She’s tough, inspiring, and part of what makes our family so special.

Q: How do you feel about meeting new people?
A: Honestly… I’d rather not. Strangers aren’t really my thing.

Q: What do you like to do for fun?
A: I have a very specific favorite toy: Q‑tips. Especially when my mom is using them to clean.

Mikki (dog)

Q: Where can we usually find you at home?
A: Sleeping on the bed, of course. It’s exactly where I belong.

Q: Tell us about your home life.
A: I live on a farm and take my responsibilities seriously—especially when it comes to keeping an eye on the horses.

Q: Do you get along with everyone in the household?
A: I argue with our African gray parrot, Grafiti. It’s complicated.

Q: What happens when strangers come over?
A: I make a quick getaway and hide out in the horse pasture until the coast is clear.

Q: Do you have a favorite toy?
A: Absolutely. My indestructible pink pig is my pride and joy.

Q: Anyone special you adore?
A: My grandma. I love her more than anything.

This mascot competition was made possible by the incredible generosity of our community. Each entry represented a donation, and every donation helps power our Medical Assistance Fund—providing critical care for pets whose families need a little extra support.
