Blood Work
A blood test allows you to learn about information about your pet that is not always visible to the naked eye. A sample of blood is collected and analyzed in the lab.
We recommend pre-operative bloodwork for any pet over the age of seven years that is going to have a surgical procedure in our clinic. The blood test helps us determine if the kidney and liver a functioning well enough to handle the anesthesia.
Various other blood tests can be run for chronic issues, ailments, acute sicknesses, etc., that will help us not only diagnose a problem but also help us treat your pet appropriately.
We have the ability to run in-house blood samples on critical patients or when we need quick results to refill medications, etc.
