Heartworm Test

A Heartworm test is a blood, snap test that determines whether or not your dog has become infected with heartworms and now has canine heartworm disease.

Heartworm disease is a serious and life-threatening disease in pets. Heartworms are transmitted through mosquitos. The disease is caused by worms that live in the heart, lungs, and associated blood vessels of the infected pet, causing severe lung disease, heart failure and damage to other organs. Cats can also contract heartworms.
