Seresto Collar (Dogs)
A Seresto collar is an odorless, non-greasy collar your dog wears that kills and repels fleas and ticks, kills lice, and helps treat and control sarcoptic mange on dogs for eight continuous months.
Pet owners like Seresto collars because they offer protection for a long period of time, require no month-to-month application and provide protection even when wet (for dogs that like to swim).
When putting a Seresto collar on your dog, make sure that the collar is not fitted too tightly.
Occasionally dogs new to Seresto collars might experience slight hair loss and mild skin reactions around their neck due to the mechanical irritation of the collar; this usually clears within one to two weeks without needing to remove the collar.
