Amy McBride, DVM
Medical Director

Dr. McBride is a seasoned veterinarian with nearly 30 years of experience in the field. She has worked in almost every capacity in a clinic since starting as a kennel tech during high school.

Currently serving as the Medical Director for Stand For Animals, Dr. McBride has demonstrated exceptional leadership over the past decade. She is passionate about advancing the veterinary profession through coaching and mentoring both new and experienced doctors. A proud alumnus of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 2012, Dr. McBride has continually committed to promoting quality driven and compassionate care for companion animals. She is especially passionate about geriatric care, believing senior pets deserve to age well and be free from pain.

Dr. McBride and her husband enjoy family time with their two young boys, being outdoors, cooking, gardening and watching football. She has two senior dogs, Holmes, a pit bull whom she delivered via c-section, and Addy, a shepherd mix rescued from Georgia.
