Sasha's Fund

Sasha's Fund was established by Katie Schwarting in memory of her beloved dog, Sasha. Sasha was adopted as a nine year old and was definitely considered a "senior pet" but nonetheless brought immense joy into Katie's life. She was sweet and smart and made sure that everyone in the family knew that they were loved.

In 2017 when Sasha became ill she received such exceptional medical care that she was able to live for another three years. Katie felt so grateful to be able to provide what Sasha needed she wanted to make sure that other pet owners had the same opportunity. Sasha's Fund makes it possible for Stand for Animals to help to underwrite the cost of treatment for a sick dog or cat so that pet continue to bring joy and happiness to their family carrying on Sasha's legacy.
