Essentials Annual Visit
What is An Essentials Annual?
We are excited to offer the Essentials Annual visit for healthy pets which allows your pet's annual exam to be done efficiently and affordably. The veterinarian will examine your pet during this visit. However, rather than meeting with you individually, the veterinarian will provide a report card with details of the visit and recommendations to you after the exam is conducted.
What Happens During an Essentials Annual?
During the visit, the veterinarian will examine your pet for clean skin, clear eyes, healthy ears, and a shiny coat. The doctor will use a stethoscope to listen to your pet’s heart and lungs. Your pet’s mouth will also be evaluated to make sure there are no loose or infected teeth or infected gums. Any vaccinations or testing your pet needs can be completed during this visit.
If anything abnormal or concerning is discovered, you will be notified via the report card that further testing may be necessary.
Should My Pet Get An Essentials Annual?
Essentials Annuals are intended for pets in good health who do not have any concerns that need to be discussed during the visit. If you have a medical concern about your pet then an Annual Exam Visit is a better fit.
What's the Difference Between an Essentials Annual and an Annual Exam?
Essentials Annuals are perfect for pets that are in good health and have no concerns. They are an affordable way to ensure that your pet is seen every year. During an Essentials Annual your pet is evaluated by the doctor while you wait in the lobby. This is different from an Annual Exam, a more expensive visit, where you meet with the doctor alongside your pet to discuss any concerns you may have.
